Turbocharged SR20 Inline-Four S15- 6 Speed Manual Transmission Subaru R-180 LSD 15x7 Ronal R9s are included for the street use along with 15x7 Rota GT-3 track wheels and 15x6.5 Chrysler steelies. The brake system incorporates Porsche fixed calipers front and rear with Hawk HPS pads all around. The front brakes feature a 2-piece rotor, custom center hat, and a Coleman racing 10-bolt ring. The rear brakes use Brembo Z32 300ZX rotors with a working internal drum parking brake for the center-mounted handbrake lever. Front brake ducting runs from the removable front air dam to the rotor backing plate, and the previous owner changed the brake fluid with either ATE or Motul high-temp brake fluid after every track event. The dash has been modified with a custom classic instruments gauge panel and a custom enclosure housing the A"Pexi boost controller, air/fuel gauge and radio. the stock pedals have been replaced with a Tilton reverse -mount underhung pedal assembly that allows for front-rear brake bias adjustment. The front seats are reupholstered BMW E30 items with basketweave vinyl upholstery to match the stock rear bench. Suspension and steering upgrades include Toyota MR-2 rack and pinion steering, adjustable Tokico/Hypercoli front shocks, QA1 racing rear shocks, raised lower control arm pivot points with late design arms, and polyurethane bushings front and rear. the suspension mounting points were reinforced, and the front top-mounts feature camber adjustment. The firewall has been signed by Pete Brock of BRE. This 1969 Datsun 510 is powered by a turbocharged SR20 inline-four paired to Nissan 6 -speed manual transmission. Power comes from a late-model S13 "Redtop" SR20DET with high-port heads and later cooling fins. the engine has been relocated 40mm down and 20mm back on a custom crossmember with rack and pinion steering mounts and double-shear unibody mounting stiffeners. The engine features GTI-R main and rod bearings, as well as a ported S15 T28 ball bearing turbo.A Ron Davis aluminum radiator is fitted along with a variable speed electric fan. The car also features an oil thermostat with a Setrab oil cooler set up for large Volvo oil filters. A custom made low-loss intercooler with integrated large-radius aluminum elbows and flow-optimized charge piping has also been installed. The ECU is a stock Nissan unit with PLMS Consult-USB Programmer and Nissan Datascan monitoring software.
